Overview
The US255i is a great additional to your home-theater system.
The US255i behaves as a switcher, and a HDTV scaler. This unit
is able to output multiple resolutions which allow you to match
native resolution on your TV or Projector. You can now use one
device to connect your composite video, s-video, component video,
VGA (PC) and HDMI sources to one HDMI output, and get the best
possible video.
Any input can be up-scaled to a specified resolution up to 1080p.
Analog audio from any of the sources will be digitized and encrypted
in to the HDMI output, using one cable for audio and video. You would
lso have the ability of splitting your source audio to a digital coaxial
(S/PDIF) output, and routing it though an audio receiver.
Using your American TV overseas with HDMI connection: -
The US255i automatically detects PAL and NTSC signals. It converts the analog PAL signal to HDMI/NTSC signal. Your TV must have HDMI input. It will show a great picture on your American TV.
Using the US255i overseas for PAL to NTSC convertion your overseas Cables box or Satellite receiver must have HDMI output connection. The result will be a HD digital picture of great quality.
The great part of this converter is the opportunity to test it in the USA before taking it overseas.
